Everybody could use a little bit of cheerful help in the kitchen during the holidays! These three snowmen are ready to help you bake, and wash dishes, and just “hang” out in the kitchen with you… no social distancing required! This is a quick, super easy pattern with colored pencil tinting that is completely washable! Designed to fit a finished 20” wide dish towel, you could easily adapt it to fit anything over 14” wide.
Helping Hands Supply List
Dish towel (about 20" x 28")
5/8 yd good quality white muslin for both the embroidery background
and backing (each 10" x 24")
1 1/3 yd red rickrack (1/2" or 3/4")
01 or 005 brown Pigma pen
Light box for tracing your embroidery patterns
Artist’s paper blending stumps
Emery board/nail file
Size 4 round watercolor brush
Jacquard Textile #100 Colorless Extender
Freezer paper
Embroidery hoop (I like a 5" thin-sided, spring tension hoop)
#7 embroidery needle
Loctite Fun-Tak Mounting Putty (for removing most pencil tinting mistakes before fixative is added)
