Quilting is 4 the Birds! includes complete instructions for making a 47” x 43” quilt (as seen on the cover) or individual blocks for smaller projects. The individual blocks include: the blocking jay block (13.25” x 11.5” finished), the quilted cardinal block (13.25” x 11.5” finished), the fancy finch block (13.25” x 10.25” finished) and the robin thread breast block (13.25” x 10.25”) . Instructions are also included to create the border and sashing detail, including the leaf blocks. This project is designed using conventional piecing techniques (no paper-piecing).
The pattern is a 20 page 5” x 8” booklet printed in full-colour and saddle stitched with a rigid gloss cover.
